KPMG is currently seeking a Director in Life Sciences for our Management Consulting practice.
Lead KPMG Medical Device Practice Growth through insight about industry trends and customer needs in the areas of quality, compliance, supply chain, and regulatory technologies
Run fast paced engagements of 5-25 staff across multiple functional domains including directing subcontractors and off-shore resources
Represent KPMG thought leadership at conferences, in publications, and other growth forums as it relates to practice offerings
Define high growth new areas of investment to increase KPMG service offerings in the life sciences industry over the next 1-3 years
Track project status, issues, and risks as well as present summary information to clients, partnerships, and executive sponsors as needed
Think critically about client issues and investigate leading practices within the industry to help improve organizational maturity and sustainability
A minimum of eight years of Life Sciences Industry experience with core operations and medical device
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Systems, Information Management or other quantitative discipline with specialization from an accredited college or university
Awareness of various types of enterprise platforms used within Med. Device & Pharma industries for running their business: PLM, RIM, PIM, CAPA Systems, S&OP Systems, ERP, MES, WMS, PMS
Experience working in and across various business functions on a global scale, in particular: Supply Chain, Regulatory, Quality, Medical Safety, and IT
Proven history of successfully executing complex projects and ability to effectively communicate with senior executives as well as junior staff
Travel may be up to 80-100%
