Manager, Tax - Valuation Services (Houston, Texas) (multiple positions)

Provide tangible asset valuations for mergers and acquisitions, financial reporting, tax and regulatory compliance, restructuring and reorganization, corporate services, and management planning purposes. Ensure the quality and accuracy of deliverables for clients. Conduct reviews of third-party appraisals for audit support purposes. Apply in-depth technical valuation knowledge. Pursue business development opportunities. Establish and maintain client relationships and professional networks.

WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.)


Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field and 2 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience with the following: Performing and reviewing valuation services and fixed asset management services for business combinations, asset purchases, joint ventures, tax purposes, insurance purposes, and impairment testing; Performing valuation analysis using comparable transactions, direct and indirect cost approaches, and discounted cash flow analysis; Utilizing computer based analytical tools to build and apply models that assist in analyzing and preparing the fair value of client assets; Performing purchase price allocations for Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and International Financial Reporting Standards; and Performing valuations in compliance with Accounting Standard Codification Topics 805, 350, 360, and SAS 73 reviews. Travel up to 10% required. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
