KPMG is currently seeking a Director Government Contracts, to join our Federal Advisory Organization.
Oversee the Government Contracts Management Group supporting both Federal and State & Local practices by acting as an advisor for contract and subcontract management and administration
Establish and maintain policies and procedures for compliance with government regulations
Brief government practice leaders on regulatory trends and impact on their business
Participate in planning internal and external contract and subcontract review and audits
Initiate and negotiate agreements, including Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA), Teaming Agreement (TA), contracts and subcontracts
Perform business risk assessments, provide Organizational Conflict of Interest (OCI) with assessments, and help ensure compliance requirements meet firm policies and procedures
Minimum twelve years of experience managing federal contracts and subcontracts; preferably within a professional services firm or similar environment
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; Master's from an accredited college or university is preferred
Knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) compliance, General Services Administration (GSA) Schedules requirements, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR)
Ability to resolve complex contractual issues and recommend business solutions to partners and engagement teams, as well as motivate, manage and influence individuals in a highly collaborative and matrixed environment
Ability to travel up to twenty percent of the time
