KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, SharePoint Administrator to join our KPMG Technology Organization.


  • Manage, build, configure, deploy, troubleshoot and maintain enterprise-wide SharePoint farms

  • Partner with Solutions Architects and other technology teams to review proposed architectures, implement and maintain complex SharePoint solutions, applying advanced troubleshooting technique to resolve issues and ensure projects deliverables are met

  • Responsible to perform code review, automate administrative tasks and provide guidance to team members

  • Provide support for both third party and internally developed applications

  • Evaluate alternative approaches and recommend new software or modifications to enhance operations and development activities

  • Consult with IT staff and clients to determine the impact of new updates to SharePoint and other Middleware environments; provide on-call support when needed


  • Minimum five years of progressive and relevant experience administrating SharePoint in an enterprise environment

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

  • Strong SharePoint application development background and in-depth knowledge of SharePoint 2007, 2010, and 2013 as well as other related products such as DPM, Control Point, Storage Point, SQL Server and Microsoft .Net Framework; strong knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux

  • In-depth knowledge of configuring and troubleshooting IIS, Office Web Apps, Microsoft Workflow Manager, SSRS, SSAS Add-ins for SharePoint

  • In-depth Knowledge of Microsoft Power Shell, C#, SharePoint object Model and experience supporting Windows Server 2008 and 2012

  • Strong verbal/written communication, with ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority
