KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Automation Admin to join our KPMG Technology Group.


  • Develop infrastructure designs and automation technologies to align with development and business needs

  • Craft technical requirements from business requirements and projects, providing direction and blueprint for operational teams to deploy modern infrastructure components

  • Direct teams in a matrix organization with regard to improving platform delivery as it relates to infrastructure management

  • Continually improve infrastructure designs through research and adoption of new products and automation technologies for the purpose of lowering cost, easing management burden, increasing consistency, or providing performance improvements

  • Automate provisioning, configuration, and ongoing support tasks for the following: Intel based server hardware - Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS);Hypervisors - VMWare ESX, Hyper-V, KVM; Operating Systems - RedHat Linux, Microsoft Windows Server; Network devices - Cisco, F5, IBM

  • Automate Build-Test-Deploy process in support of application development


  • Eight years of senior level systems administrator experience; preferably in enterprise level data centers with production environments over 1000 servers

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

  • Experience operating in a large enterprise environment and understanding of implementation of systems at scale, along with hardware experience including rackmount and blade chassis including server infrastructure installation, integration, and ongoing operational support

  • Technical skills in various editions of ESX/VSphere platform administration, Windows Server operating systems including Administration, Clustering and Powershell with knowledge of enterprise datacenter automation technologies such as Puppet, Chef, Saltstack , SCCM

  • Advanced scripting knowledge with Python, Powershell, Bash, VBScript or equivalent and working knowledge of modern software stack implementations, ESB, SOA

  • Technical knowledge across various disciplines to resolve complex infrastructure integration issues and problems and interface with multiple vendors to coordinate resolution to both hardware and software problems
