KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director, to join our Independence Organization.
Manage projects and provide guidance during project execution, maintain insight on project status, keep projects on track, and recommend alternative solutions or approaches
Provide ongoing assessment of operational state of the infrastructure and implement process enhancements and improvements for use by internal and external stakeholders while utilizing established methodologies
Manage ad hoc projects and initiatives to help ensure operational procedures are well defined, documented, and consistently applied
Develop and maintain core operational key performance indicators, as well as supporting reports, dashboards, and executive summaries
Build relationships and serve as the point of contact for colleagues and stakeholder groups
Acquire knowledge related to auditor independence regulations including those established by the SEC, PCAOB, and AICPA
Minimum seven years of project management and/or process improvement experience organizing, planning and executing projects from definition through implementation
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; Master's from an accredited college or university preferred; PMP or similar certification preferred
Six Sigma green/black belt is a plus
Experience working independently, managing competing priorities and diverse initiatives under tight timelines
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, Project, Visio and/or other project management tools
