KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director, Development to join our KPMG Technology organization.
Direct the activities of business development managers, technical project leaders and developers
Manage all phases of the system development and implementation process including analysis, design, development, testing, and ongoing support for the client area's application systems in an environment of diverse development platforms
Function as a primary client contact responsible for fulfilling project requirements and coordinate activities with IT management
Manage project planning, scheduling, status reporting and project budgets and be able to establish and analyze staffing requirements within guidelines
Develop and execute an application roadmaps for existing applications including technology upgrades, maintenance, and issue resolution
Consult with functional management in the analysis of short and long range business requirements and recommend innovations which anticipate the future impact of changing business requirements, hardware and software on the client area(s) applications and systems
Minimum of eight years of experience in systems analysis and application program development
Bachelor’s Degree from accredited university or college or equivalent work experience
Experience with years of architecting public cloud-based solutions, preferably in enterprise organizations, with a strong emphasis on Azure and specific tooling –Log Analytics, Security Center, ARM Templates, Virtual Networks, Application Gateway, and Load Balancers
Experience writing Infrastructure as Code in native languages (ARM/Powershell/.NET/), in accordance with DevOps standards of source repositories and build systems for full automated deployments, as well as continuous deployment and delivery
Ability to explain to both security teams and clients the capabilities of cloud services and define client-specific solutions that leverage them which includes understanding the technical, financial, and organizational requirements and constraints with customers, as well as working across internal teams to deliver solutions
