KPMG is currently seeking a Manager in M&A Services for ourpractice.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee operational due diligence and performance improvement engagements, while driving the completion of the team's deliverables and positioning the firm to assist the client on additional projects

  • Execute in-depth studies and performance improvement initiatives within a given functional area, such as supply chain management, pricing, sales and marketing, operating expense management, product management, or organizational design, and integrate findings from SPI®, (KPMG's proprietary profitability model) with the client's strategic objectives and business constraints

  • Lead cross-functional teams in developing and implementing services, managing key interviews, leading workshops, and conducting industry research through secondary and primary resources, ultimately overseeing the development and presentation of final project deliverables

  • Work closely with the engagement leaders to help build relationships with clients

  • Consult across B2B and B2C industries including industrial services, healthcare, consumer goods, retail, energy, technology, telecom and financial services

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five years of experience in M&A consulting at a Big 4 firm or a major strategy or boutique strategy firm providing advisory services in mergers and acquisitions, with specific experience providing operational performance improvement services and operational due diligence to clients

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in Business Administration, Engineering, or other related field; Master's degree in Business Administration from an accredited college or university preferred

  • Deep domain expertise in financial analysis, business strategy, organizational design, and supply chain optimization to enable direction and review of the team's studies

  • Deep performance improvement skillset with the ability to develop strategic insights from profitability and other related analysis

  • Operational exposure across primary corporate functions (e.g. HR, IT, Finance, Legal etc.), including the ability to assess, improve and redesign business processes and functional organizations

  • Ability to travel as necessary
