KPMG is currently seeking a Director, Lead Accelerator Management to join our - Center of Excellence for Advanced Analytics.

Responsibilities:

  • Own, standardize, operationalize, & enterprise all Data & Analytics internal software solutions and accelerators that are constructed; Ensure solutions adhere to best practices, are scalable, repeatable and meet security and risk requirements; Includes design and development of the standardized version of solutions, enhancements, and defect resolution

  • Define processes to facilitate transfer of Solutions from Engagement team to Accelerator team operational ownership, and provide & define day-to-day operational support for all solutions

  • Define Solution Enhancement model including build and release strategy, deployment and support processes, enhancement request intake processes (rationalization & prioritization of backlog); Define tool and/or infrastructure upgrade strategy (communication, testing, deployment); Define holistic application and infrastructure Support Model for all solutions; Define, provide and/or coordinate UAT and QA testing services

  • Support planning (with National Support Center) for 1st level support including construction of Knowledge Base (FAQs), communications, periodic incident/problem management reviews, etc.; Define and provide 2nd – x level support, SLAs and escalation processes – as needed for more mature solutions

  • Provide periodic status updates/leadership reporting; Collaborate with executives on the strategic and tactical planning of Accelerator management function

  • Support establishment of high performance solution support team (across firm functions) that anticipates and prevents potential issues, outages, striving for continuous improvement in service availability; Ensure objectives for Lighthouse portion of team are clearly defined and managed, acting as primary point of escalation for issue resolution

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of ten years of progressive experience in an analytics-oriented IT environment; Minimum of six years in delivering and managing technology solutions across multiple enterprise architecture domains including technology, application and infrastructure; At least five years of hands-on leadership experience with AWS and Microsoft Azure enterprise implementations

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university is required; Master's degree from an accredited college/university is preferred

  • Experience in CI/CD processes and supportability; Experience with Docker and Kubernetes implementations; Proficient with Devops tools and environments, e.g., Jenkins, Git; Proficient with scripting languages, e.g., Python, Shell, Bash

  • Demonstrated track record of success in leading significant IT projects, the scope of which includes SDLC, software deployment, product support with data & analytics solutions

  • Excellent verbal/written communication and collaboration skills to lead an environment driven by customer service and team work; Ability to build a team from scratch, and foster its development into a high-performance team; Capable of building strong professional relationships with ability to influence all levels across the organization
