KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Linux Systems Administrator to join ourorganization.
Manage production and development of Linux environment and platform services setup, configuration and management
Work within the full systems lifecycle, including tasks which go beyond basic setup, including tuning, performance optimization, and advanced troubleshooting of system health issues
Design and implement full CI/CD pipeline services, including version control, automated build and scripted deployments
Install, configure and manage container services, Hadoop cluster, relational databases and non-relational databases
Research and experiment with Linux based open source solutions and architectures; Engineer and implement services that meet specifications and security requirements
Work closely with architects, software engineers, data scientists and domain consultants to understand client needs and expectations
Minimum of five years of Linux systems administration experience in scalable applications platforms
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields from an accredited college or university
Strong knowledge of Linux, OS level file system and network troubleshooting in an enterprise environment following best practices
Experience installing, configuring, monitoring, and administering large Hadoop clusters, RHEL platforms and PostgreSQL/MongoDB/HBase, Nginx or Apache, and familiarity with CI/CD and version control system (GIT, BitBucket)
Strong disaster recovery techniques including replication and backup
Willingness to learn new technologies and concepts
