KPMG is currently seeking an Executive Director, Audit Innovation to join our Audit Innovation organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with Audit Innovation leadership on large-scale innovation efforts, overseeing significant Firmwide innovation initiatives and investments, while leveraging firm resources as needed which may direct the activity of a PMO

  • Create a scalable strategy of enculturation and ideation opportunities to help ensure a constant ‘drum beat’ of innovation which solicits ideas from the field in a structured manner

  • Design a strategy to create a venue for ideas to be shared from all levels of the assigned practice

  • Develop a ‘triage’ process to help ensure ideas are vetted against formalized criteria by the most appropriate team within the firm

  • Host key scoping, design, and proto-type discussions/working sessions, and additional ad hoc meetings to escalate issues for resolution in order to optimize progress

  • Accumulate and summarize progress, accomplishments, upcoming milestones and risks/challenges/items to escalate for the Innovation Leader to present status and progress to the Audit Innovation leader, US Management Committee, the I&ES Leadership Team

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of ten years of large scale innovation experience; preferably from within a professional services firm

  • Bachelor’s degree in business studies from an accredited college/university; Master’s degree and certified Program Management Professional is preferred

  • Extensive experience in the development of Innovation solutions or Apps, including planning, organizing, coordinating, and managing staff, clients, and/or partners towards the successful completion of a project

  • Experience managing multiple high-priority projects and initiatives simultaneously

  • Ability to work within a matrixed partnership environment, ability to manage and motivate individuals outside of direct reporting lines

  • Ability to manage performance of direct reports against stated objectives; develop direct reports based on his/her professional development goals, and mentor staff

  • Up to forty percent travel in the U.S. required
