Responsibilities: Provide technical support to KPMG’s actuarial management group in support of property and casualty insurance clients. Develop, review, and validate actuarial models in the areas of reserving, pricing and capital management. Provide audit support functions and advisory project support. Develop, perform, and review KPMG and client work papers and analytics. Identify and communicate technical matters to clients and management. Program and manipulate database applications used in support of experience studies and other data management functions. Assist with project planning, development of deliverables, and other technical writing exercises.

WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00am – 5:00pm)


Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited college/university in Actuarial Science, Mathematics or a related field plus two (2) years of experience in the offered position or a related occupation. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable. Two (2) years of experience must include: Developing and projecting actuarial models using actuarial software; Programming and manipulating database applications, including SAS and R; Financial statement auditing and performing audit procedures utilizing experience with U.S. GAAP, U.S. GAAS, PCAOB auditing standards, SEC regulations, and IFRS; Participating in engagements varying in size and scope and handling engagements for clients with multiple subsidiaries or divisions in the financial services industry; and Participating in the development of processes, deliverables, and work streams for overall engagement objectives.
