KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director, Administrative Support to join our ION organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide overall leadership for the administrative support teams led by Admin Managers in Silicon Valley, San Francisco, Walnut Creek and additional offices

  • Directly manage Administrative Support Managers within the Silicon Valley, San Francisco, Walnut Creek and additional offices to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of day to day administrative support services including utilization and work load balancing, performance management (goal setting, development and coaching, reviews, salary administration, disciplinary action) and employee relations of a team of functional administrative assistants

  • Formulate long- and short-term goals impacting Administrative Support

  • Lead significant projects or initiatives, including serving as a national network co-lead

  • Prepare and manage own functional budget and overhead expenses through effective planning, supervision, and execution

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of eight years of administrative or office management experience, preferably within a professional services firm or similar environment

  • Minimum of two years of supervisory experience managing Managers

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited college/university or equivalent work experience

  • Performance metrics/reporting skills, ability to utilize data to formulate short- and long-term plans, process transformation and reengineering skills, and people management skills

  • Experience managing multiple geographic locations and supervising multiple and diverse service functions simultaneously with the ability to build and maintain successful cross-functional relationships at all levels

  • Ability to travel between assigned offices, and ability to travel for area meetings, team initiatives, or other project-related activities
