KPMG is currently seeking a Director in Financial Management for ourpractice.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead multiple client service delivery teams in the active execution of engagements to help ensure compliance with firm and practice unit service delivery standards

  • Utilize technical and financial operation/transformation knowledge to identify complex client issues, broaden client relationships, and develop a reputation as a thought leader

  • Lead and support business development activities, such as identification, proposal development, and other pursuit activities at clients

  • Help lead advisory teams in solving complex strategic and tactical problems

  • Build long-term business relationships with key executives through engagement delivery and networking in professional organizations

  • Contribute to the development and evolution of methodologies and intellectual capital including contributing to articles, whitepapers, and training efforts

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of eight years of relevant work experience with three years of experience in public accounting or comparable advisory services

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or equivalent from an accredited college/university; MBA from an accredited college/university, CPA, and/or other advanced professional credential is preferred

  • Deep financial transformation knowledge and experience

  • Strong understanding of business processes, project management methodologies, and leading practices

  • Progressive experience leading teams, mentoring staff, evaluating performance, and providing performance feedback

  • Strong communication skills and ability to establish a rapport with clients and colleagues

  • Travel may be up to 80-100%
