KPMG is currently seeking a Manager Forensic Technology Data Analytics in Risk Strategy & Compliance - Forensic for ourpractice.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Advisory financial services clients in evaluating, validating, enhancing, and automating financial crimes systems such as anti-money laundering, sanctions systems, and fraud prevention/detection systems

  • Select features and building and optimizing classifiers using machine learning techniques

  • Data mining using methods for pattern discovery and clustering and perform testing or algorithms to identify problems and measure performance

  • Process, clean, and verify the integrity of data used for analysis

  • Enhance data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems

  • Write reports summarizing project work conducted for review by KPMG project leadership and ultimately the client

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five years of relevant professional experience

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Mathematics

  • Understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, CART and other tree based models.

  • Experience with common data science toolkits such as R, Python, MatLab, SAS, SPSS, SQL, or Tableau

  • Experience in the concepts of statistical inference such as hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, probability, ANOVA, or Chi-Square

  • Statistics skills such as distributions, statistical testing, and regressions

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
