KPMG is currently seeking a Manager to join our Government Contracts organization.


  • Perform pre-award and post-award contract and subcontract administration

  • Draft and negotiate agreements, including NDAs, TAs, contracts, and subcontracts

  • Strategize with engagement partners and teams and provide value-added business advice

  • Collaborate with partners, the Office of General Counsel, Risk Management, Business Process Groups, clients, team members and others to mitigate risk and oversee that business requirements are met

  • Oversee contract and subcontract compliance with federal government acquisition regulations, as well as KPMG's policies and procedures

  • Assist or lead client contract reviews and audits


  • Minimum of seven years of experience in negotiating and managing contracts and subcontracts in a federal environment

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

  • Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR) and agency-specific acquisition regulations and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software and Deltek CostPoint

  • Ability to resolve complex contractual issues matters, perform business risk assessments and implement recommendations.

  • Ability to travel up to five percent

  • U.S. citizenship required
